The Molinos del Río Space hosts this evening the Pecha Kucha Night (06/09/2018)

It is an interdisciplinary meeting, where fields such as architecture, sociology, graphic and fashion design, music, photography, industrial design, cinema, multimedia creation, advertising, anthropology, medicine or environmental chemistry They have an interaction space.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, will attend this evening the event Pecha Kucha Night, a festival dedicated to the arts, which returns to Los Molinos del Río as a new interdisciplinary meeting, where fields such as architecture, sociology , graphic and fashion design, music, photography, industrial design, cinema, multimedia creation, advertising, anthropology, medicine or environmental chemistry all have a space for interaction.

Pecha Kucha is presented as a quick format for the exhibition of ideas, projects and designs.

In each session, 10 speakers show their projects through 20 slides, with the peculiarity that they only have 20 seconds to explain each of them.

The participants are professionals, students, professors or entrepreneurs from different disciplines.

For this new edition they will have the creators of the DARE GIRL fanzine (music, literature, art and politics made by women), Cristóbal Sánchez and with their proposal MUTANTES an event of graphic experimentation, the Architect Miguel Mesa del Castillo, Maria Luisa Iglesias Carbonell will talk about BioNeuroEmoción, the companions of the Las Negras cultural space, in Blanca, Claudia Orellana and Tonny Serrano of the record label Son Buenos, the writer Miguel Ángel Hernández ...

At the end, the presentations will give way to a space for the meeting between the participants, innovators with different creative profiles.

Pecha Kucha Night is a non-profit organization that seeks the promotion of creativity acting locally with a global reach.

The Pecha Kucha Nights are an original idea of ​​Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of the Klein Dytham architecture studio.

They began to be held in Tokyo in 2003 and have now expanded to more than 373 cities around the world, including New York, London, Berlin, Moscow, Vancouver and Rotterdam.
