Citizens require the regional government to allocate the approved funds in the 2017 budgets for the rehabilitation of the Monteagudo complex (05/09/2018)

Juan José Molina: "It is necessary to ensure the continuity of the work so that professionals can continue to bring to light the wonderful heritage that is hidden"

Citizens has demanded the regional government to allocate, "as soon as possible", the 690,000 euros from an amendment introduced by the orange training to regional budgets last year for the completion of rehabilitation work of the archaeological complex of Monteagudo and which was approved by the plenary of the Regional Assembly on March 9, 2017.

Juan José Molina, regional deputy of Citizens, has visited the archaeological complex "to be interested in the needs of the work team and know first hand the progress that is taking place."

The deputy of Cs has shown his satisfaction because, "as we expected, the excavations being carried out by the team of researchers of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) are bearing great fruit." For this reason we had a great interest in This team of great professionals will carry out the rehabilitation work of the complex, and this is reflected in our proposal. "

In this sense, Molina has claimed that it is necessary that the regional government is involved once in this project and run the game of 690,000 euros for Citizens "so that you can ensure the continuation of work and professionals can continue to draw light this wonderful heritage, which is the Generalife of the Region of Murcia, and that in the near future could be put in value ".

"We are worried because the excavations could be interrupted.

In this sense, the regional government can not continue to turn its back on this project.

Perhaps for them it is not necessary to recover a historical heritage that has an incalculable value, but in any case, they have the obligation to comply with the mandate of the Regional Assembly and allocate the approved endowment for the rehabilitation of the Monteagudo complex " , added the deputy of the orange formation, who hopes that this request does not fall on deaf ears "before the evidence of the magnificent results that are taking place".
