NOW MURCIA denounces that the Green Path of Espinardo has become a dumping ground for debris and pots that appear to be from old marijuana plants and, "that make this road a dirty and unhealthy space when it should be, according to the PGOU , an area to enjoy nature and the walk ".

The councilor Angeles Micol demands Ballesta and the mayor of Urbanism and Huerta, Navarro Corchón, that the municipal government clean, condition and signal this way, "that is not fulfilling the requirements nor functions that gathers the PGOU (General Plan of Urban Ordination of Murcia)".

The mayor explains that a stretch of this Greenway are dozens of pots that have reported to Now Murcia residents of the area are allegedly marijuana, "appeared after police raids in nearby neighborhoods" and remember that the PGOU clearly states the objective of the Green Paths and Roads Network: "Set up a network of conditioned roads to channel pedestrian routes, cyclists or on horseback, excluding motor vehicles, interconnecting parks, relevant green areas, cultural landmarks and rural or mountain sites "

Micol regrets that "the special beauty that this place had, which led to it being cataloged as a green path, is being systematically mistreated, as is the case with most of these paths and without the Ballesta Government taking measures in this regard."

For this reason, Now Murcia already took to the Plenary last May a motion, approved with the abstention of the PP, for the elaboration of the Special Plan Green Paths of the municipality, "a wording that is not optional, but obliges the General Plan for Urban Planning (PGOU) In addition, it is not a recent lack, it should have existed for no less than 17 years. "

The councilor highlights that these itineraries "are a value of the municipality of great interest that must be made available to all Murcia and Murcia."

Angeles Micol points out that it is also necessary to clean the Pine Grove of Torre Falcón, owned by the City Council: "A report from the Park and Garden Service says that this area has proper maintenance, but it is not like that, it is very dirty".
