The City Council and Feremur launch a campaign to raise awareness about the misuse of alcohol and drugs in adolescents during the Feria de Murcia.
The objective of this campaign is to destroy this culture of excess of alcohol and other drugs that, sometimes, is understood as inherent to the leisure of the young people in the nights of celebration.
And even more so considering that alcohol plays a leading role in polydrug use more and more frequently.
That is why the City of Murcia, through its councils of Youth and Sports, has decided to launch the campaign to be developed mainly at the September Fair through social networks.
The excessive consumption of alcohol not only has serious consequences for health but many triggers derived as dirt from the streets and squares, noise and fights, assaults or traffic accidents.
Therefore, Rebeca Perez has indicated that "it is necessary to reach our young people through social networks, channels and communication language of adolescents.
The president of Feremur, Rafael Olmos, has affirmed that "the City council of Murcia sets up a necessary program between the adolescents of the municipality, is a sample of the good tuning and work between Feremur and the consistory".
