The Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations, through the veterinary inspectors of the Consumer Inspection Service, will proceed to the official sanitary control of all the non-permanent food establishments, installed in the Fica and Malecon precincts, for the purpose of of guaranteeing the healthiness of the foods that are sold.
The councilor Maruja Pelegrín visited this morning the Huertos enclosure to finalize the device.
Among the requirements that are demanded are compliance with health regulations regarding infrastructure, water supply and drainage, facilities, equipment, handling, food traceability, conservation, exhibition and sale.
From the moment of installation, all the establishments installed in the Fica and Malecon precincts will be inspected and all the times they will be required will be visited to those who present sanitary deficiencies until the rectification of the same.
Taking into account the data from last year, it is estimated that some 159 food establishments will be installed distributed between the La Fica Exhibition Center and the Garden-Paseo del Malecon (Gardens, Wine and Gastronomy Fair of the Region of Murcia, Market Stalls Medieval, Moors and Christians Camp and Craft Posts).
On September 11, the Pilgrimage of the Virgen de la Fuensanta will be celebrated and from the day before the food stalls will be inspected distributed along its route and near the Sanctuary of La Fuensanta.
