The residents of the Vereda del Capitán (Puente Tocinos) and Los Zapatas (El Raal) inaugurate a water and sanitation network (29/08/2018)

It includes a score of performances very demanded by the neighbors of districts and districts.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the councilor for Pedanías, Participación y Descentralización, Marco Antonio Fernández, has visited today two of the completed works of the Plan of Summer Performances of Aguas de Murcia 2018.

This Plan includes a total of 19 works in 16 districts and two neighborhoods of Murcia, with an investment of 3,148,000 euros.

"The objective is to improve the quality of the service in neighborhoods and districts, modernizing the network and establishing new stretches, interconnections and improvements both for water supply and for the sanitation system, bringing this public service to where it is needed," said José Crossbow.

Specifically, it is about the works of installation of the supply and sanitation in the Vereda del Capitán de Puente Tocinos, "a performance much demanded by the neighbors", according to José Ballesta, and the works of the new sanitation network in the Vereda. of the Zapatas (Phase II) of El Raal.

Both jobs have already finished and the streets have been paved.

The purpose of the action at Bacons Bridge is to provide supply and sanitation to the houses located in the vicinity of the Vereda del Capitán, from its intersection with the RM-F2 highway and until its junction with the Carril Marines.

The new connections and installations carried out involved an investment of € 123,559, with the asphalting of 1,680 m2 of vials taking place.

On the other hand, in El Raal the works consisted of providing the sanitation service to the homes in the vicinity of the Vereda de Los Zapatas, with an investment of € 324,994.

The surface of asphalted roads after the works amounts to more than 3,000 m2.

Specifically, the districts benefited by the Summer Action Plan are Corvera, Patiño, Tocinos Bridge, El Raal, Valladolises, San Ginés, El Palmar, Sangonera la Seca, Lobosillo (two performances), Javalí Viejo, La Ñora, Espinardo, Torreagüera, El Puntal, Santa Cruz and San Benito (Barrio del Progreso), in addition to the Murcia neighborhoods of Santa Eulalia and San Andrés.
