The works of the new Library and Cultural Center of Beniaján face its final stretch with an execution that exceeds 60% (08/08/2018)

José Ballesta visits the works that have been accelerated in this building equipped with a library, assembly hall, dance classrooms and workshops, as well as a 24-hour operational study room.

This ample and luminous space for the culture of more than 2,800 m2, located in the center of Beniaján, has supposed a municipal investment of 1.173.000 euros.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, visited the works of the new Beniaján Library and Cultural Center, which face its final stretch and now exceed 60% of its execution.

"Thanks to the high pace of the work, the initial deadlines have been shortened and the neighbors will be able to open in the autumn this ample and luminous space for the culture of more than 2,800 m2", informed the mayor.

The property, which has involved a municipal investment of 1,173,000 euros, is equipped with a library, assembly hall, dance classrooms and workshops, as well as a 24-hour operational study room.

It consists of a single floor and stands on a municipal plot very close to the auditorium.

It has been structured in two independent areas, one for the library and another as a cultural center, and also has a shared area of ​​common uses with auditorium and dance hall.

The works of this new polyvalent municipal center, with spaces planned for cultural, educational and social use, began on December 21, 2017, with a deadline of 12 months.
