The Community finances the mobile surveillance patrols of Civil Protection that monitor the mountains of the municipality of Murcia (07/08/2018)

Two pairs of civil protection technicians travel the mountains of the municipality of Murcia in order to detect and warn of any suspicious attitude or give the alarm at a risk situation, in the framework of the Forest Fires Plan in the Region of Murcia ( Infomur).

The Community collaborates with the municipality of Murcia and finances these mobile surveillance patrols with 12,000 euros.

The Director General of Citizen Security and Emergencies, José Ramón Carrasco, together with the Councilor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sánchez Alarcón, accompanied these patrols and verified the work they do during their visit to the Carrascoy mountain range, specifically the Park Municipal Majal Blanco, which fulfill the mission of patrolling certain mountains, following a determined route according to the fire risk they present.

The mobile surveillance patrols are present in the municipalities of Águilas, Albudeite, Alcantarilla, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Blanca, Bullas, Calasparra, Campos del Río, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Fortuna, Jumilla, Librilla, Lorca, Moratalla, Mula, Murcia, Pliego, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, Santomera, Pacheco Tower, Totana, La Union and Yecla.
