The University of Murcia offers its students the possibility of accompanying each university degree issued with the European Diploma Supplement (SET) in order to facilitate access to job opportunities or expansion of national and international studies.
The issuance of the SET is one of the measures established with the implementation of the European Higher Education Area.
It increases the transparency of the various higher education degrees taught in European countries and facilitates their academic and professional recognition.
This document offers the student a more detailed and easily comparable degree in the international field.
It includes unified and personalized information for each university graduate on the studies studied, the results obtained, the professional skills acquired and the level of their degree in the National System of Higher Education.
The SET has official status, valid throughout the national territory and is free.
Sonia Madrid Cánovas, vice-chancellor of Studies, affirms that with the European Diploma Supplement the graduate can demonstrate their abilities and skills beyond strictly curricular aspects, a profile that the student can use as a cover letter for employment.
The students can request it through the Electronic Office of the University of Murcia, in the Citizen Portfolio section, and it will be available to all graduates from the 2009 course. Students who have completed their studies during the 2017-2018 academic year will have its disposition the electronic SET of its Degree title as of the month of November of this year.
