The City of Murcia works to extinguish the fire declared this Saturday afternoon in an area of ​​scrub next to Reguerón, in La Alberca, near Santa Catalina.
Up to the place 10 vehicles have been moved to the area with buses, cisterns and headquarter.
In total, about thirty troops are working in the area, who also have the collaboration of the Local Police.
Assistance has been requested from the Fire Extinction Consortium and three aerial assets are active in the area around the river banks.
The 061 team is also helping in the control and extinguishing of the fire.
Firefighters are working in affected homes and industrial buildings.
The power supply has been cut off and the possibility of evicting some houses is being considered if necessary.
