Young people in the municipality seek more information on participation, society and health (23/07/2018)

The Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez has presented the report of visits and consultations received in Informajoven.

In the first semester of 2018, there has been an increase of 37.38% in queries, compared to the same period in 2017. In the previous year there was also a notable growth in relation to 2016, exceeding 34%, which is a clear upward trend in the growth of consultations and visits to the Informajoven center.

Regarding the visits made to the web page www.informajoven.org, 302,120 visits were quantified in the first semester of 2018, increasing with respect to the previous year.

There has been a slight increase in the total number of page visits compared to the previous period, mainly highlighting that the number of unique users has increased by more than 8%, as well as the increase in the number of sessions by more than 10%.

78.26% of users continue to enter the web through a search engine, 12.41% directly and 9.31% through links.

The pages corresponding to informative areas of the Informajoven continue being the most visited with 40% of the total, and their consultation has varied, increasing by 2% with respect to the previous period.

It is worth highlighting the increase of almost 8% in the calls section, exceeding 20% ​​of visits on the total number of pages.

There have been positive changes in the areas of participation (more than 32%), probably in the topics related to volunteering, the society area (more than 86%) and in the health area (more than 35%).

The informative areas of education, work and free time continue to be the most demanded of the set of topics addressed by the Informajoven center, as it has been common for years.

In addition, this year, almost 350 more people have subscribed to the weekly newsletter.

This newsletter is sent every Saturday through email and has 5,358 subscribers.

"We have also opened new channels of communication with young people in the municipality, through WhatsApp and Telegram you can receive directly on your mobile all information related to grants, jobs, courses, contests, grants, conferences and cultural activities. We adapt to new technologies and we put all the resources to inform our young people in the most efficient way possible, we are at your disposal "said Rebeca Pérez.

Regarding the alert service via Telegram, we have 220 subscribers as of June 30, 2018, compared to 105 that were subscribed the previous year.

What is an increase of 109% of registered users.

From the Alert Service via Telegram, 1,704 content messages have been issued during the first semester of 2018.

In total, 4,889 messages were issued by the alert service via Telegram, since it was launched, in 2016, until today.

Through WhatsApp, 105 queries were registered during the first semester of 2018.
