At present, there are 2,028 people who use this service, of which 1,897 have the municipal Home Care Service and 131 receive it through the IMAS Unit system.
Another outstanding novelty is the possibility of providing urgent service due to unexpected or exceptional situations that require extraordinary intervention and the promotion of the profession by professionals, in situations that require rapid intervention.
Unlike the previous regulations, the new text allows it to be provided temporarily and limited in time, as long as the situation of need that justifies its grant lasts.
