The employment service provides training to 600 people without work in the first half of the year (23/07/2018)

Until the first semester of this year, the City of Murcia, through the Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, led by Jesús Pacheco, has developed 6 training projects, which include 44 training activities, of which 39 are certificates of professionalism, in which 601 unemployed people have participated and 84% have obtained degrees.

The total cost of these projects was 3.6 million euros, of which the municipal contribution was 33.80% and the rest subsidized by the SEF.

These are some of the data addressed today at the meeting of the Pact for Employment working group, which also reported the balance of the labor guidance service, advice and intermediation, which have served 732 users, of which 374 have been women.

On the other hand, the council headed by Jesús Pacheco plans to hold 23 collaboration agreements this year -3 more than in 2017-

In 2017, 2 calls for grants were approved, both for the Promotion of hiring for the creation of employment (temporary and fixed hiring of workers) aimed at SMEs, micro-enterprises, self-employed workers, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, insertion companies and social economy, in competitive competition, such as for the support to the creation of jobs by self-employed workers and members of social economy companies

In this area, 73 hiring grants were granted for a total amount of 301,000 euros and 19 subsidies for self-employment, with an expenditure of 112,000 euros.

This year, the two subsidy lines have been approved in amounts similar to 2017.
