The municipal PSOE shells the numerous "lies" of the PP with the AVE and shows its confidence that now it already arrives underground (15/07/2018)

The municipal secretary general and the spokesperson of the Socialist Group in the City of Murcia have criticized "false expectations" and have declared that this region "deserves a government that does not lie, that does not manipulate, that resolves problems and does not generate them"

More than fifty councilors, members of the municipal executive, parents, spokespersons and members of the PSOE Murcia have gathered this morning at the headquarters of the party, on Calle Princesa, to remember the many lies of the PP at the local, regional level and national to the neighbors and have expressed their total confidence that the AVE "arrives now already buried", thus giving the answer and solution to the citizenship that have been claimed in recent months and years.

The municipal general secretary, José Antonio Serrano, recalled the decisions announced last Friday by the government delegate, Diego Conesa, on the fact that the AVE will arrive underground at Carmen at a height of at least 8 meters in the second half of 2020, and that the crossing at the level of Santiago el Mayor will be open "as long as possible and not closed for two years as intended by the PP project with the consequent damage to the neighbors of the area."

In addition, it has also referred to that in a few days the two remaining sections of the burial will be tendered: El Carmen-Barriomar and Barriomar-Nonduermas.

In this regard, he also stressed that "this new reality contrasts with the unfulfilled promises of the PP on the arrival of the AVE to Murcia, which has made more announcements than stations has the way," has also criticized "the false expectations that the Government of Lopez Miras has created with the arrival of High Speed in August of this year, but has never told the truth about its implementation, something we now know through the Ministry of Development. "

For its part, the Socialist spokesperson at the City of Murcia, Susana Hernandez, has clarified that, first, the PP "took three years to approve the Urban Reorganization Plan of the area affected by the burial" and then has explained that in 2012 a joint motion was signed by the 29 councilors of the municipal Corporation that proposed to guarantee that the arrival of the AVE would not occur in any case on the surface.

In February of 2014 one of the great manifestations celebrated in Murcia is celebrated with the PP to the head of the banner in which it was read "Not to the AVE in surface".

However, the last project of the PP, and therefore, the daily concentrations on the roads, consisted in the arrival of high speed on the surface.

Hernandez has described the motions, delays and changes of opinion of the PP over the past few years, noting that "in 2014 the AVE had to be in Murcia underground and although that did not happen, no popular leader came out to protest, but also there was talk that it would arrive at the end of 2015, when the former government delegate announced that he would eat the grapes at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid, and also at the end of 2017. The PP lacks credibility, so we believe that this region will be it deserves a Government that does not lie, that does not manipulate, that solves the problems and does not generate them ".

Finally, he pointed out the initiatives approved in the Regional Assembly and in the municipalities of Murcia and Cartagena where the neighborhood feeling against the Popular Party was collected, even "until recently the PP did not think like the PP" and added "we do not we have changed our position, the neighbors have not changed their position, it is the popular ones who change their position without explaining why.
