The Governing Board has approved the convocation and regulations for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of autotaxi vehicles adapted for people with reduced mobility, a program in which the City will invest 205,000 euros.
Taxi drivers may request aid to finance increases in the cost of operating adapted vehicles (fuel consumption, cost of ramp repairs, safety harness and wheel change, as well as repair services and mandatory passenger insurance) and You can get up to 4,000 euros per application.
The application forms can be obtained from the Transportation Service or through the website www.murcia.es and must be submitted to the Municipal Registry from the date of publication of the call in the official bulletin until October 1, 2018 .
Within this line of action it is therefore intended to follow the same promotion policy that has been developed since 2012, the date on which the ONCE Foundation concluded its financing program for the adaptation of self-taxi vehicles, and how successful it has been given that currently there are 42 adapted taxi licenses, being one of the largest fleets in Spain.
