Mario Gómez: "It is inadmissible that the PP uses this advisory body skipping the bullfighting one of its basic principles that is none other than to give participation to its members to make their contributions in a timely manner"
The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gomez, has denounced the tortuous use that the local government makes of the Social Council of the City of Murcia "by turning it into a mere showcase of projects advertised ad nauseam by Ballesta for exclusively propagandistic purposes".
"They use this Council to make a series of monologues without the right of reply, where Ballesta and his ediles speak and sell an idyllic Murcia that they only see from their ranks, but that the rest of us mortals suffer because of nonexistent," criticized Gomez.
In this sense, the spokesman of Cs has regretted that "we have not been given a voice to the representatives of the political groups, restricting our right as legitimate representatives of the neighbors, to participate and express our opinion."
"In addition," he added, "and this has become a widespread criticism, has not been previously provided to the audience the information exposed by the councilors of the PP who have intervened."
In the opinion of Gómez, "this Council should be an environment for debate, proposals and consensus to approve actions that mark the lines of the model of municipality we want, and not a place where we impose a partisan model away from transparency and participation citizen. "
"From Cs we will continue working so that this Council complies with one of its basic principles, to be a genuine organ of participation where all its members can present their ideas and proposals freely and for the benefit of the entire municipality and its neighbors," he concluded.
