The Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs launches 'Discovering Murcia', a series of videos made by Murcia Tourism which describes the main attractions of heritage and the most emblematic places of the municipality of Murcia.

For this series, 18 videos have been produced that show monuments, environments and unique buildings that are completed with informative texts about each of these places.

Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus pacheco, explained that "the goal of this initiative is to teach Murcia and visitors the main claims of the city through videos that do not exceed one minute and a half in length and incorporate plans unpublished and spectacular of the environment of each one of them ".

Among the pieces, which can be seen on Youtube and Tourism Vimeo Murcia, highlights those made in the Cathedral of Murcia, the Salzillo Museum and the Real Casino of Murcia as main attractions, the Baroque churches of Murcia or urban monasteries that still You can find them in the historic center of the city.

As for the series of the surroundings of the city, it shows from the Contraparada and the most singular roads of the orchard, to the views of the Murcia valley from the Mirador de la Fuensanta, the Torre Houses or the Monteagudo Castle among others.

The production has been made using the latest recording techniques and incorporates images of the exterior areas most representative of the heritage of Murcia, as well as sequences that show details of architectural and artistic elements of the churches, buildings and monuments selected for this promotion. .
