The councilman of Cambiemos Murcia, Sergio Ramos, has demanded today PP not to use the excuse of the lack of support to municipal budgets to prevent the implementation of work improvements to public employees of the City to which the team committed of government.
Ramos has challenged the head of Finance at the City Council, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, to bring these improvements to the House for approval, regardless of whether the PP has the support of the rest of the groups to the global municipal accounts for this 2018, and using the formula for the budget modification.
"It does not make sense to subject an issue as important as the increase in staff in deficit services to the support of global budgets that, as a whole, maintain a policy of cuts and outsourcing that can not count on the approval of Cambiemos Murcia," indicated Ramos.
In his opinion, public employees "can not be used as a bargaining chip" and, therefore, have called for a debate of the Corporation to give way to the improvements agreed with them and committed.
"Murcia change would support these improvements with the same categorical with which we reject the global budget of the Popular Party because it does not serve to meet the needs of citizens or situations of social emergency," he added.
The municipal training has proposed to also carry out a budget modification for other "fundamental" issues, such as the implementation of the Platform's claims for the recovery of bus line 61, which linked Aljucer, San Ginés and El Palmar with Murcia, suppressed in 2012.
