Cs requires Ballesta and his mayor Guillén to take seriously the complaints, claims and suggestions of the residents of Murcia (05/07/2018)

The orange formation denounces the lack of control of the local government of the complaints that arrive to the concessionaires on the part of the users in terms of street cleaning, lighting, parks and gardens and public transport

The training has demanded today the mayor of Murcia, José Guillén;

and the councilor in charge of the Service of Attention to the Citizen, José Guillén, that "stop looking the other way and take seriously the complaints, suggestions and claims of the residents of Murcia."

In particular, "Guillen's lack of interest has today been more than demonstrated by not having attended, as a listener, the Suggestion and Complaints Committee, where the quarterly report of the Citizen Information and Service was presented, of which responsable;

as well as the draft of the organic regulation of the Commission ", lamented the mayor Paqui Pérez.

Lack of control

Since Citizens have warned the PP, "of their lack of control of complaints that come to the dealerships by users in terms of street cleaning, lighting, parks and gardens and public transport."

"By not controlling or having knowledge of these complaints, the local government does not verify or supervise the correct compliance of the services provided by the concessionaires, nor the degree of satisfaction of the users, nor the suggestions they provide to make improvements," denounced.

Similarly, the mayor of Cs has lamented "the lack of capacity of this Commission to order the implementation and application of corrective measures that tend to solve the main problems reported by neighbors."

Late and bad

In addition to having been established late and badly -has pointed- the Suggestion and Complaints Commission "still does not fulfill the purpose established by the law, which is to report to the Plenary through an annual report that reflects the complaints presented by the residents and the deficiencies observed in the operation of the municipal services ".

"None of this has been done, and today we are presented with a working draft of the Commission when ten months remain until the end of the mandate, which confirms the total disinterest of Ballesta and Guillén", criticized Pérez, who, in this meaning, he recalled that "Cs has been requesting its implementation since 2016, as was reflected in the motion that the orange training presented to the Plenary Session of the City Council and that was approved unanimously."
