The UCAM graduates 40 students in their Master's in CSR and Labor Relations (28/06/2018)

The graduation of the 2nd edition of the Master of Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Diplomacy and Sustainability and the 1st edition of the Master's Degree in Labor Relations Management, CSR and People Management took place yesterday at the Monastery of Los Jerónimos Temple at the UCAM.

Andrés Dulanto Scott, director of Digital Content and CSR in Agencia EFE and Nuria Fuentes Garcia-Lax, general director of Labor Relations and CSR of the Autonomous Community of Murcia have been the sponsors of the academic event.

"CSR is the tool to achieve the SDGs and the ultimate objective, create public-private partnerships, contribute to the remaining 16 can be a reality." This is one of the territories we have established this year, as well as the creation of social projects and spaces for dialogue and debate on CSR, "says Víctor Meseguer, director of the International Chair of RSC UCAM-APC (Port Authority of Cartagena).

The Master in CSR, Sustainability and Corporate Diplomacy has had 25 professionals and graduates, and the Master's Degree in Labor Relations Management and CSR has had 15 students.

In both training programs have had quality, HR and Communication managers of some of the most important companies in Murcia.

These two master's degrees address strategic and cross-cutting areas and competencies within companies and organizations, formed in an emerging profession, such as the DIRSE or Director of CSR, which was traditionally linked to the HR, communication and administration departments, and each time It is taking more strength within the business management and risk management.

The Chair's vision is to make CSR pedagogy.

Equally important that spreading and promoting the integration of Social Responsibility in organizations is to create social value through real projects and synergies.

As a result, two new strategic alliances have been signed with leading and innovative companies in its sector: the logistics, communication, branding and logistics consultancy Ecommerce Logic and AENOR, the leading entity for certification of management systems, products and services, and responsible for development and dissemination of UNE standards.

Ruth Hernández, director of Logic Ecommerce and Ángel Luis Sánchez Cerón, director of the Mediterranean Region of AENOR, have been part of the students of this edition.

The act was directed and presented by Estrella Núñez, Vice-Rector for Research of the UCAM.

After welcoming and presenting the meeting passed the word to Víctor Meseguer, who after the acknowledgments commented that "CSR has a lot to do with values ​​especially at a time when lies are growing everywhere".

He also wanted to address the students adding "All of you have left an indelible mark, you only have to call and you have us at the door because this does not end in this closing".

After Meseguer, Fermín Rol, General Director of the Port Authority of Cartagena, said that "the Port Authority of Cartagena brings together a multitude of public bodies and companies, which is why we are advocates of CSR and we support these principles of good practice "

After the imposition of scholarships to the graduates, the sponsors took part.

"For me, the best lesson of life is humanity, we must never forget that we work with people".

The director focused her message on the fact that the most important product, and the most complicated to manage, are people.
