The final of 'Other trends' of CreaMurcia arrives on Friday at the REM Room (27/06/2018)

The CreaMurcia Contest, organized by the Department of Infrastructure, Works and Services, in the Youth section, directed by Rebeca Pérez, continues taking steps to choose the best young bands of the municipality in the category of 'Other tendencies'.

From a selection between twelve semi-finalist groups, four of them finally found space in the final, which were selected to show their talent.

The event will take place on Friday at 9:30 p.m. in the REM Room.

After the proceedings, the technical jury, chaired by Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez, will decide the ruling.

Among the members of the jury are experts from the world of music from various professional profiles such as Jam Albarracín, Paco Ganga, Ángel D, Miguel Ángel Keaton and Juan Albadalejo, as secretary.

The winners of the first prize will receive 1,500 euros.

In addition, with the aim of promoting their songs they will record a CD that will compile the awarded themes.

There will also be a second and third prize of 800 euros and 500 euros, respectively.

The finalists are the following:

Komorebi is an experimental folk duo born of the desire of two violinists to tell sound stories and create their own sound, transcending the limits of the violin and entering electronic and popular music through the rhythm and use of electronic elements: loopers, effect pedals and MIDI instruments.

Since its creation in 2016, Sofia and Julia have taken their music to different stages of Murcia and collaborate with other artistic disciplines such as contemporary dance and gastronomic artists.

Quía is an experimental jazz group formed in 2018 by five friends and colleagues of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia.

The aim of the project is to search for new sounds through the fusion of a great diversity of styles: from folkloric music, to classical and old to electronic music, all within a jazz framework.

Alberto García, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught musician.

He started playing the electric guitar five years ago and has always composed solo.

He played and composed for a year and a half in the band 'After Many Nights'.

On January 15 he released his album, Rainbow.

Hike, after 5 years working as a DJ (under the nickname of Iker Undersound) and being a promoter of the Gau Elektronikoa party;

in 2013 it decided to focus on production, although without neglecting the actions in some events.

Currently studying in Murcia and aims to tell stories, influenced by sound design for cinema, takes advantage of the use of synthesizers and sequencers.

The Langui will also be in this final of 'Other tendencies'.

This actor, famous for participating in numerous series and films, has been involved with young people and has been part of the campaign 12 Months of Mediaset with the song 'Seeks courageous' that awareness of bullying.
