The presentation ceremony of the summer school 'FaBioUMU: a walk through biology', framed within the activities of the International University of the Sea, will take place next Monday, June 25, in the auditorium Hermenegildo Lumeras de la Faculty of Chemistry, at 9 o'clock.
The International University of Mar has organized five summer schools for pre-university students who want to spend part of their holidays learning and having fun in university environments.
Computer science, art, biology and water sports are the areas among which young students can choose.
FaBioUMU, a summer school dedicated to Biology, will take place between June 25 and 29 and is aimed at students in 4th of ESO and 1st year of Bachillerato.
The students who register will know how to work in a laboratory and will do experiments and studies as if they were researchers.
In addition, they will learn applied biology for industrial, biomedical and environmental purposes.
