Unimar analyzes how parents' education marks school performance and future behavioral problems (20/06/2018)

The International University of the Sea (Unimar) offers the course 'Paternal profiles of risk in the psychosocial development' this July, directed, on the one hand, to students and professionals of the education, the pedagogy, the psychology and the social education and , on the other, to parents who may be interested.

This activity aims to know the parental educational styles that can lead to a bad socialization of children and, as a consequence, to cause disruptive behavior in them.

The course will take place on the 5th and 6th of July at the House of Culture of Mazarrón.

The registration period is still open and all the information and the program can be found in this link.

Throughout the two days in which the course will be developed different experts will delve into the educational implications of poor parental practices in children and their relationship with problems such as low academic performance, substance use, aggressive behavior or criminal behavior

The University of Murcia organizes more than 50 of the courses that this year includes the Universidad Internacional del Mar, spread over 16 venues.

All the detailed information can be found on the web www.um.es/unimar
