The councilman of Pedanías, Participation and Decentralization, Marco Antonio Fernandez, the councilor of Education, Relations with Universities and Patrimony, Rafael Gómez, along with the pedáneo mayor of Torreagüera, Fulgencio Perona, and the president of the Federation of Athletics of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) Juan Manuel Molina, present the first regional championship of Cronoescalada to be held in Torreagüera.
The I Chrono-ladder La Cruz del Miravete of Torreagüera will be held this Sunday, a race of popular character in which it will be possible to register and participate federated or non-federated athletes, who have reached the age of 16.
The price of the race is 10 euros, 8 euros for the federated, and registration can be made until Thursday through the website www.Dorsal21.com.
The start will take place at Calle el Mirador and will end at the esplanade of Cruz del Miravete and the competition will be at 9:00 hours for Federated runners, and from 10.00 for non-federated, over a distance of 4 kilometers.
A trophy will be awarded to the first 3 classified in each category.
By clubs absolute category is established (born in 2000 and before) establishing a classification in masculine and another in feminine.
The classification will be based on the sum of the times achieved by the first three athletes of the same club, resulting in the winning club that achieves the shortest time of sum of its first three participants.
In case of a tie in the classification, the club that will qualify before the tie will be the one whose third runner is better classified.
At the individual level, the absolute category is established, in addition to the following federative categories, both male and female: U20 (1999-2000), U23 (1996-1997-1998), Senior (1995-34 years) included), Master 35 (35 to 39 years old), Master 40 (40 to 44 years old), Master 45 (45 to 49 years old), Master 50 (50 to 54 years old), Master 55 ( from 55 to 59 years old), Master 60 (60 to 64 years old) and Master 65 (from 65 years of age).
Marco Antonio Fernandez has declared that "these sports championships turn out to be a great tourist attraction for our districts, bringing athletes to this place as is the Monte de Miravete de Torreagüera so they can get to know it in first person thanks to the practice of sport.
