Carmen Robles will be the dean of Medicine at the UMU, the first woman to lead the faculty in 50 years (18/06/2018)

Carmen Robles was elected this morning as the new dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia.

The professor of the department of Human Anatomy and Psychobiology has imposed on the vote to Professor Manuel Sánchez-Solís de Querol for a total of 99 votes to 84. The results are still provisional and will be confirmed next Friday, after the deadline of claims.

Robles becomes the first woman to assume the direction of the Faculty of Medicine in its fifty years of history.
