He also referred to the many difficulties that the UCAM has been put to implement and develop this career and referring to the practices in public hospitals, stressed that it is surprising that it is the Regional Administration itself that introduces doubts and an unfair law by discriminatory, ensuring that the institution, and especially its president, has fought and will continue to do so for the rights of its students.

Juan Carlos Izpisua, who acted as sponsor of this first class of doctors at the UCAM, offered the young graduates some advice for their professional future: "Dare to fulfill your dreams, live to discover, remember that the cure begins in the investigation. Always be positive and look forward. "

The Medicine is a vocational career that has a strong family attachment component so it is not uncommon to see how the passion for this profession has passed from parents to children, from generation to generation.

It is something that was seen in the graduation of the first class of Medicine, since if there were many doctors who graduated, there were also among the assistants.

Parents and grandparents who see their children and grandchildren follow the family tradition, while in other cases there were families who saw a child for the first time, achieve the challenge of graduating as a doctor.

There was also a large representation of the faculty of doctors who have accompanied the students in their training, both in the classroom and in practice to live a journey that is already history for the Catholic University of Murcia.
