The Department of Sports and Health directed by Felipe Coello presents the international functional fitness competition, Gods Throwdown.
It will take place on June 8, 9 and 10 at the Palacio de los Deportes.
The Gods Throwdown attracts fitness fans, runners, gymnasts, weightlifters and disciplines related to this practice.
Participate 1,300 competitors in the preliminary qualifying phase and 460 in the final phase.
An approximate attendance of 2,000 people is estimated.
There is also a WOD (set of exercises) designed by Crossfit specialists that will make the international elite athletes make a show of this discipline.
"The objective of this event is to position Murcia as a benchmark nationwide, assuming an impact in the sports field, as it is an international and touristic championship in our city, with 17 categories and 1,300 professionals, among them there are great figures of this modality of other countries like England, Portugal or France "commented Felipe Coello.
