The merchants will have a 'panic button' to give discreet and quick notice to the Local Police (05/06/2018)

The merchants already have a new free application to improve their security.

Councilors Lola Sanchez, Traffic and Citizen Security, and Maruja Pelegrin, Institutional Relations and Commerce, today presented this new service through which the merchant can give, discreetly and quickly, a notice to the Local Police with only two clicks on your mobile phone.

This notice will immediately reach the local police headquarters who will quickly send a patrol to the shop.

The informative campaign, in which the neighborhood police will distribute 15,000 leaflets in which the instructions for use appear, will begin in the neighborhood of El Carmen.

Once the application is downloaded, available for Android and soon for Iphone, you must register in the 'Register' section by entering the requested data for the correct identification of the trade.

The registration process must be done while in the store and have GPS activated, since the application will automatically register the position of the same, for the location of the establishment by the Local Police.

In addition, the same location may be identified in several mobile devices so that all employees have the possibility to use it.

When the Local Police verify the data entered, they will proceed to register the trade in the service.

Then you can perform a first test of operation, by pressing the emergency button, after which the system will return a message indicating that the application 'Safe Commerce' is working correctly.

After registration, a blue emergency button will appear on the screen each time the application is accessed and, once it is pressed, it will change to red indicating that the Local Police is already notified, knows what trade is and what is its location .

In addition, under the red button an incident number will appear, as well as the status of its evolution.
