The Local Police will continue using a system of transmissions that allows an agile and fast action (01/06/2018)

The Governing Board has given the green light to the award of the maintenance service of the telecommunications network of the Local Police.

In this way, the teleoperation system is maintained by means of a Digital Trunking Radio System, which consists in the installation of transmissions in the radio equipment of the police, to allow the Room of the 092 to permanently locate the agents.

This means greater agility and speed in the service, since in case of emergency it can be assigned to the nearest police.

In addition, being independent of other networks, it is guaranteed to operate in situations of crisis or security disruption, and is compatible with other corporate networks.

In terms of reliability, it provides a maximum level of security compared to traditional radio systems that collapse in critical situations.

With this new system of transmissions, the residents of Murcia have more help and attention from the affectives of the Local Police of Murcia.

Among the many advantages of this new system include:

- Allows communications within a group in an easy and fast way.

- It allows to put in telephone contact the policeman with the person who demands the service, so that the attention is more personalized.

- This new network incorporates a GPS system in the radio equipment of the police, which allows the room of the 092 the permanent location of the agents and be able to assign the closest one to help the citizen

This contract has been awarded to Emurtel SA for 201,600 euros and a term of one year.
