The Ciudad de Murcia Athletics Grand Prix will take place on June 6 at the Monte Romero stadium (29/05/2018)

The registration period ends on Thursday 31 at 22:00 hours |

The Department of Sports and Health, directed by Felipe Coello, along with the Murcia Murcia Tovarsport and the Athletics Federation of the Region, present the first Ciudad de Murcia Athletics Grand Prix.

It will begin at 18:15 in the Monte Romero stadium, next to the Espinardo Campus.

There will be several tests of all categories, from juvenile to absolute, and counting in the latter case with cash prizes for the first three classified in each of these absolute tests, at a rate of 300 euros for the winner, 200 euros for the second classified and 100 euros for the third.

Specifically, the pole, obstacle, height, march, disc and javelin tests will be disputed, among others.

The tests will end at 9:00 p.m.

The registration period is now open, and the clubs must do so, through the RFEA Intranet (http://isis.rfea.es/sirfea2/), until Thursday 31 at 10pm.

On Friday, June 1, the list of admitted students will be announced on the FAMU website (www.famu.es).

As for the technical standards, in all competitions the participants will be entitled to 3 attempts and the top 8 classified will have 3 more attempts to improve.

The athletes of the men's absolute triathlon in the length and javelin tests will have 3 attempts.

In competitions, a maximum of 12 participants will be accepted according to ranking and technical criteria.

In speed races, a maximum of 2 A and B series (athletes with the best brands) will be held, with a maximum of 16 participants, according to the ranking and technical criteria.

In free street races a maximum of 2 A and B series (athletes with better marks) will be made, with a maximum of each series of 12 participants, except in the 3000 obstacles and 5km marching events, a single series of 12 participants will be made .

The collection of numbers will be up to 60 minutes before the start of the test.

In this first edition will participate the Murcia Sergio Lopez, champion of Spain junior and 5th of Europe in 100 meters, Cristina Soler, champion of Spain in 100 meters straight cadet and Juan Antonio Maldonado, runner-up of Spain June of pole vault.

There will also be Carles Triado, the international athlete, jumper of absolute height.

In addition, children can compete with their idols in specific tests for them.
