Next Sunday May 27, the Neighborhood Association of Vistabella will celebrate in the Plaza de los Patos the 12th edition of its Market, this time in spring version.
The collection of clothes and objects are doing from Thursday 24 to Saturday afternoon 26, at the premises of Calle Capitán Balaca, 10, and the Mercadillo will be held on Sunday from 11 to 15 hours.
As always, this Mercadillo de Vistabella want it to be a perfect opportunity to review what we have left of our cupboards and storage rooms and to collaborate in the recycling and reuse of clothes and objects.
The AVV of Vistabella understands that the culture of recycling should become something natural in the daily life of any person and a fundamental part of the way of life of a society, therefore this exchange of objects should become something more and more natural.
The AVV Vistabella wants this edition of the Market to be special.
Thus, the full collection of what is paid for the sale of objects and clothing will go to two organizations: the Platform Soterramiento Murcia, a group that stands out in recent years for its activism and commitment to a better Murcia, and is suffering a harassment intolerable in the form of fines;
and Proactiva Open Arms, an NGO created to carry out rescue and first aid tasks in the arrival of refugees to the Greek coasts and which is also enduring an unjust institutional persecution.
The Market of Vistabella makes a work of attraction of visitors from other neighborhoods, districts and surrounding villages, which generate benefits in the shops and restaurants of the Vistabella neighborhood.
In addition, there are several associations that collaborate or have collaborated putting their information stands, for example, Murcia En Bici, Region of Murcia Clean, Traperos de Emmaus, Association of Friends of Ritsona or Vistabella Chess Club, with which, you try to favor the associationist fabric in our municipality and the exchange of work and ideas between associations.
In each street market an artist collaborates, neighbor of the neighborhood, elaborating the poster.
In this edition, the chosen artist was Rubén Zambudio.
