Rebeca Perez invites the opposition to 'visit more the polygon or ask the neighbors who have been with the Mayor in the neighborhood and so they will not be wrong again'.
'PSOE and Cambiemos know that they are not right when they do not want to recognize the work we are carrying out for the rehabilitation and recovery of the La Paz neighborhood,' said Rebeca Pérez, Spokesperson of the PP, given the criticisms made this morning by representatives of both municipal groups.
"There are ongoing actions of great relevance that demonstrate, with facts, that La Paz is a neighborhood of preferential attention for the Government Team," Pérez said.
Such is the case of the construction of the new nursery the hiring table will propose tomorrow the winning company and construction will begin in the coming days- or the revision of the 56 blocks and 1,642 homes of the polygon in order to make a technical diagnosis of the situation in which they find themselves.
The fieldwork has already been completed and at this moment the report is being drafted in which, in addition to the diagnosis of maintenance, habitability and other technical conditions, proposals for intervention will be presented.
And all this will be submitted to the Mesa de la Paz constituted by political groups, technicians, professional associations and neighborhood groups.
The comprehensive plan of social intervention approved a few days ago is also evident proof of the work that is being developed.
It contains 45 measures, some of them already underway, but 'a program of these characteristics is not the execution of a work, which has a start and end date,' the spokesperson explained.
Support for budgets
There are other planned initiatives, including the remodeling of the Palm Grove garden, at a cost of 400,000 euros.
"But investments are made with money and this is available when the budgets are approved, so that if Cambiemos or the PSOE have so much interest in making improvements, they only have to support the budgets," Rebeca Pérez said.
Finally, the councilor invites the opposition to 'visit the polygon more or ask the neighbors who have been with the Mayor in the neighborhood and so they will never be wrong again'.
