The civic group Ciudadanos has asked José Ballesta to "assume his responsibility as mayor of Murcia and take seriously his confrontation with the hotel businessmen in the municipality."

The orange training has insisted on the need to address the issue of nightlife by separating the premises with music from cafes, bars or restaurants that do not have, as well as the occupation of the public road, its distribution and model of tables, chairs, awnings, among other issues.

After the stoppage of the hotel trade -marked Mario Gómez- we still have no news of possible progress with the sectors and groups involved.

"It is necessary to offer legal security for some and guarantee the welfare of the neighbors, both individually and collectively, seeking balance and coexistence of public space."

According to the study prepared by a group of experts from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and which has analyzed the evolution of the municipality since 2001 considers as little or nothing problematic for Murcia the noise produced by nightlife, "What evidence," said the orange spokesman, "that we must start localized actions and punctual reject general initiatives."

Therefore, he pointed out, "we understand that the PP is generating a global problem where there is none, but the existence of more problematic focuses that are located and are reduced, even some outside the areas of acoustic protection that contains the false map of noise made by the local government ".

In this sense, Gomez has asked the PP to take into consideration the study prepared by the UPCT and reconsider its generic proposal "to develop an ordinance that contemplates and reflects the uniqueness of each location, geographical location, activity, area of the premises and public space the one that affects. "
