The municipal pools of districts advance the opening of summer to June 16 (22/05/2018)

The Department of Sports and Health directed by Felipe Coello has presented this morning the new summer season of the municipal pools of neighborhoods and districts.

This year, as a novelty, the opening of the pedestrian pools is being advanced to June 16 and will be open continuously until September 2.

The first installation that will open its doors will be Murcia Park on May 29 with hours from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The pools of Aljucer, Alquerías, El Raal, La Ã‘ora, Rincon de Seca, Sangonera la Verde, Sangonera la Seca and Corvera will open continuously on June 16, while Tocinos Bridge will open on June 26, Espinardo on March 3. July and El Palmar on July 10.

All of them will close their doors on September 2.

The schedule of all the pedestrian pools is from 12:00 to 20:00 hours and will also be open on weekends and holidays, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Mar Menor and El Infante pools will remain open from June 18 for free swimming and summer schools until July 31.

The schedule of these is from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Last year 11,868 summer school students passed through the municipal swimming pools.

The reopening of the Mar Menor, Infante, Tocinos and El Palmar heated swimming pools for the 2018/2019 academic year will be on Monday, September 24.

Users between 4 and 17 years old who come to these pools accompanied by parents who are unemployed will have a 100% bonus.

Meanwhile, users over 18 years of age who prove to be in a situation of job seeker will have a 50% bonus on the ticket price.

Each pool will have two lifeguards, except Murcia Park, which will have five, which offers a total of 52 lifeguards to cover all times and days in which the facilities remain open.

Courses in Corvera and Alquerías

In the swimming pool of Corvera, swimming courses will be taught every day for children from 4 to 14 years old at different times: at 11:00, 11:45 and at 7:00 p.m., with a duration of 45 minutes each.

In Alquerías, the hours of the courses for minors are at 11:00 and 11:45 and for adults (from 15 years) at 19:00 hours.
