- Municipalist training criticizes the closure of Senda de los Garres today without having previously approved measures to ensure mobility alternatives for tens of thousands of affected residents

NOW MURCIA denounces that the three public administrations have given rise to the day of the closure of the pass at the level of Senda de Los Garres without having approved and set in motion real measures to alleviate the damage that will be caused to 60,000 residents of the districts and neighborhoods of South Murcia.

From the municipalist formation it is indicated that "it is a nonsense that a mobility plan has not been implemented prior to the closing of the level crossings, with which as of this night thousands of residents are condemned to a pilgrimage of up to 2 kilometers of rodeo with this closing of the level crossing of Senda de los Garres ".

The municipal group Now Murcia has demanded today the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, which share the powers of public transport, to immediately start a bus service that runs through the affected areas and connect the districts and neighborhoods affected by the wall that is rising next to the roads on the surface.

Some 61,000 Murcians will be directly affected by the works of the AVE to Murcia, and will have to make changes in their movements.

We are talking about the inhabitants of Progreso neighborhood, Santiago el Mayor, Patiño, Algezares, La Alberca, Santo Ángel, Los Garres, San José de la Vega and San Pío X, to which Murcia will be added without living in those neighborhoods or districts, circulate in the area.
