The Faculty of Economics and Business closes its official master's degrees (21/05/2018)

The Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia held last Friday the closing ceremony of their master's studies.

During this academic year, the faculty has offered a total of five official master's degrees (Audit of Accounts, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Business Management MBA, Finance and Applied Sociology), in which more than 120 students are enrolled.

In all of them there is a special emphasis on the practical and applied dimension of the different subjects, with speakers and lecturers from leading companies in the field of each master.

The event was chaired by the Rector of the UMU, José Luján Alcaraz, and was attended by Samuel Baixauli Soler, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business;

José María Moreno García, first vice-dean of the Official Association of Economists of the Region of Murcia;

and Josep María Ramón Muñoz, Vice Dean of Academic Planning of the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The closing conference was given by Miguel Ángel García Calavia, professor of the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Valencia, under the title 'After the recent crisis, a more polarized work structure?', Where he highlighted the importance of a good postgraduate education.
