Monteagudo launches a new functional space that is fully accessible to all residents on Avenida de la Constitución.
"The works consisted in the elimination of the different architectural barriers that the original structure had with very old pavements, and with hardly any elements of civil works, to transform the square into a modern, accessible place with different uses for the neighbors as example party enclosure ", explains the mayor of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén.
This new green area, of more than 1,500 square meters, has been reformed with the filling and conditioning of the land until achieving the desired surface at the same height.
In addition, we have proceeded to the placement of numerous new shrub plants while delimiting the garden to the general road with fencing.
The color and the image are also key for this space, made following the requests of the neighbors of the area, and that will have paving stones with a special tricolor format with curbs in the same color, complemented by geometric tree basins respecting the existing tree roots.
In the works of reform of this space of Monteagudo, Avenida de la Constitución, new led lighting has been placed in the points of light and banks run with tarmac coating.
In this way the City of Murcia continues its policy of improving the different green areas of Murcia and its different districts.
