The Civil Guard detained three people in flagrante while committing a robbery on a farm (18/05/2018)

The alleged authorship of a crime of robbery with force is attributed to them

Thanks to citizen collaboration it has been possible to thwart the culmination of the theft

The agents have recovered all the stolen objects

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, thanks to the collaboration of citizens, has surprised and arrested the three members of a criminal group when they were committing a robbery with force on a farm in Cobatillas-Murcia.

The events took place in the outskirts of the hamlet of Murcia Cobatillas, when civil guards specializing in prevention of citizen security received the warning that he was committing a robbery on a farm in the town.

They quickly moved to the place indicated and, once there, surprised three people in the vicinity of the property carrying various objects.

When detecting the police presence, the suspects threw to the ground the belongings that presumably they tried to subtract and they undertook flight mountain through.

The civil guards then established a tracking device on the suspects that culminated, a few minutes later, with their location and interception.

After the location, the agents initiated the corresponding investigation to verify the commission of the robbery, which allowed to verify that the objects abandoned by the suspects were motors of extraction of water and diverse agricultural tool that had been stolen from the Cobatillas farm, for which the three suspects were arrested and later brought to justice as alleged perpetrators of the crime of burglary.

The objects stolen and subsequently recovered by the civil guards, after being brought to justice, have been returned to their owner, who are awaiting assessment as well as the damages incurred in the commission of the crime.

The investigation continues open, not discarding that the now arrested can be found after the authorship of more criminal acts.

The Romanian detainees, between the ages of 28 and 33, living in Murcia and with a history of similar crimes, recovered effects and proceedings ordered, have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction number 3 of Totana and Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Murcia.
