The Networks Program reveals the most influential women in the history of Murcia (18/05/2018)

On Saturday 19 a guided tour will take place in which the most influential women figures in the history of Murcia will stand out, such as Santa Florentina, Elisa Seiquer or Isabel II.

There will also be a nocturnal astronomical observation in which the planet Venus can be seen

The Network program offers the weekend of 18, 19 and 20 May a large offer of free activities for young people thanks to the boost of the Department of Infrastructure, Works and Services, especially in the area of ​​Youth, which directs Rebeca Pérez.

Among the activities highlighted, on Saturday 19 will take place a guided tour on the most influential women in the history of Murcia in Plaza Cardenal Belluga at 5:00 p.m.

Santa Florentina, Luisa Fajardo, the blessed Sister Angela de Astorch, Isabel II, the painter Sofía Morales or the sculptor Elisa Seiquer will be the protagonists.

Another activity scheduled for that day is a nocturnal astronomical observation, in which participants can observe the planet Venus and the Moon.

It will take place at 9:00 p.m. at Calle Cartagena, number 83.

In addition, the Networks Program continues betting on inclusive leisure.

In this case, a new edition of the Inclusive Table Tennis Championship will be held in which young people belonging to different associations participate.

In addition, workshops on literary creation, Spanish guitar, electric guitar, manga comics, drawing or painting continue.

In total, the Networks Program offers more than 40 free activities for young people.

The workshops are aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 30.
