If time permits, the event will close with a paratrooper exhibition of the PAPEA with the flags of Spain and Murcia.
The 300 seats qualified to participate in the Civil Flag Oath that will host this Sunday, May 20, Teniente Flomesta Avenue, have been sold out for two weeks.
The Murcians have responded to the call to star in this solemn act with which to demonstrate their loyalty to the national flag, in the presence of members of the Sewer Air Base.
In addition to the people registered, mayor Jose Ballesta will swear, as well as the Queen of the Huerta and her Ladies.
As a novelty, the mayor will impose the Combat Band of Murcia to the Standard of the Sewer Base.
This act puts the finishing touch to the commemorative acts of the constitution of the Council of Murcia, 752 years ago, by King Alfonso X El Sabio.
After the Oath or Promise before the Flag of the more than 300 participants, there will be an air parade with T-12B Aviocar planes belonging to the 721 Air Force Squadron of the Military School of Parachuting (EMP).
Next, the ground parade will start, made up of vehicles from the Parachute Sapper Squadron (EZAPAC), the Scuderia Squadron, the Music Unit of the General Air Academy and the Mixed Squadron of the EMP and EZAPAC.
If weather conditions permit, the event will be closed with a paratrooper exhibition of the Acrobatic Parachute Patrol (PAPEA) with the Flags of Spain and Murcia.
The act will take place this Sunday, starting at 10.30 am, in front of La Glorieta.
Among other military authorities, the General Head of the General Air Command, José Alfonso Otero Goyanes, and the Chief Colonel of the Alcantarilla Air Base, Francisco Javier Fernández Fernández will attend.
