The orange training regrets that the bus company LAT has cut the service to the public without announcing it and with the approval of the CARM and the City of Murcia
The municipal group Ciudadanos has denounced the lack of control by the regional and local government on the public transport service that Murcia receives and that provides the company Bus LAT.
On this occasion, the aforementioned concessionaire has again cut back the hours of customer service that, in recent times, has gone from the three points that were lent (Bus Station, central offices and Avenida de la Libertad) to two (Avenida de la Libertad and central offices);
and six days of care in the morning and afternoon (Monday to Saturday), five and only in the morning.
"This is the evolution that LAT's customer service has suffered over the last few years, always subject to cuts with the approval of the administrations, more pending to defend the savings in expenses of the company than the quality of the service provided. to the users, "said Cs spokesman Mario Gómez.
In this way, it has also referred to that "the difference of this last cut with the previous ones is that, until now, it had always been previously communicated, both to the Administration and to the users;
but, now, it has not been considered important enough to follow this procedure ".
The orange training has proven that there is no official statement or explanations of the cause of the cut by the company to its users, neither on the buses nor on the website, where the updated schedules appear directly.
"The fact is that, from now on, the already punished users of public transport in Murcia will have to ask for permission at work or leave classes, among other responsibilities, if they want to carry out any management in relation to the service they receive. , because it is only possible to do it from Monday to Friday, in the morning. "
