The Animal Sound festival celebrates its fifth edition with different novelties (15/05/2018)

The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, attended this morning the presentation of the Animal Sound festival, which will be held at the La Fica fairgrounds on June 15 and 16 and which have already sold more than 8,000 subscriptions

The main novelty of this fifth edition, apart from extending the programming to two days, will be the collaboration with the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and Don Fluoror in which classical chords and electronic beats will come together to offer this innovative concert.

In addition there will be a special emphasis on parallel activities such as the live final of the DJs contest, with the novelty that this year there will be two categories: Region of Murcia and National, and the organization with Factoría Cultural Región de Murcia, the 14th June of the Forum of Experts to tell how a festival like Animal Sound is planned and generate a debate about the current scene together with Don Fluor, Di Carlo and Alex Morgan.

The production has also been completely renovated in design, lighting and sound and the Animal Sound will become the first festival in the region to implement the smart bracelet, a technology that will improve access safety, control of gauging and control juvenile.

More than 50 artists of different musical styles will go on stage, among which Jay Hardway, who occupies the 68th position in the top of world DJs, Deorro, DJ and producer behind him has great collaborations with Steve Aoki, Diplo, R3hab, among others, and Natos & Waor, a Madrid rap duo that has offered more than 50 performances throughout the country in the past 2016. They are joined by headliners such as Fatima Hajji, Phuture Noize and Sonique.

Councilor Rebeca Perez thanked "the organizers of Animal Sound, which has already positioned itself as one of the most important electronic music festivals in the country, which have expanded their programming in two days as this initiative will surely benefit the hospitality sector of our municipality since the attendance of 20,000 people is expected to the festival ".
