The University of Salamanca celebrated on Sunday, May 6, at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, the delivery of medals to the winners at the XXXI National Chemistry Olympiad held in the capital on May 5 and 6.
The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Policy and Social Participation, Enrique Cabero, who chaired the event accompanied by the dean of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, David Díez Martín;
the president of the ANQUE, Ernesto Castañeda;
the president of the Spanish Conference of Deans of Chemistry, Pilar Bermejo;
as well as Juan A. Rodríguez, of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry and Elena Pérez, organizer of the National Olympiad.
The students Jaime López Pav, of the IES Alfonso X el Sabio and Ángel Hidalgo Pérez of the Maristas La Merced-Fuensanta School were also awarded.
