To this is added the progressive upward trend of average temperatures that allows its reproduction most of the year.

It will act in those areas of the municipality where the presence of these insects is detected or foreseeable the appearance of outbreaks of mosquitoes that will control at least the following spaces: municipal schools and children's schools, municipal swimming pools, gardens, ponds, fountains, and green spaces publicly owned rainwater scuppers and sanitation network, ravines, wetlands, ditches and irrigation canals, lots and open spaces of municipal ownership, the municipal cemetery and the rivers of the river Segura and Guadalentín in coordination with the Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura.
