The Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations, directed by Maruja Pelegrín, wants to congratulate Pepe Madrigal, merchant of the Plaza de Abastos Saavedra Fajardo of Murcia, for the delivery of the Mercurio Award in its 2018 edition, as well as his team of workers for making this distinction possible.
The Mercurio Awards are distinctions that the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia delivers annually with the aim of paying deserved tribute to all those companies and entrepreneurs who with their initiative and effort contribute to the formation and enrichment of this fabric
Specifically Pepe Madrigal, has made an important investment in the modernization of his position, following the line of aesthetics and functionality of the Mercado de San Antón in Madrid and offering its products, cheeses, sausages and hams in a different way to the offer of the rest of establishments.
Madrigal has been able to continue with the family business of several generations, now applying a modernization process aimed at converting the Plazas into second generation markets, offering its customers their products with delicacy and care.
It should be noted that the Federation of Supply Plazas of the municipality already received this recognition a few years ago, like MUAC, the Murcia Commercial Area brand, which was distinguished in the last edition by the Chamber of Commerce.
