The Puertas de Castilla Center presents its new cinema program betting on different cinematographic proposals that will not reach Spain in its commercial circuits.
Tomorrow, Thursday, the cycle 'Other cinemas' will begin, composed of 8 feature films, with the film 'Kaili Blues' by the Chinese director Bi Gan
In this space you will be able to see a contemporary cinema at the international level of the most commercial of independent cinema and the most independent of commercial cinema in its original subtitled version, in order to deepen the analysis of different films within the universe of contemporary cinema and its multiple paradigms, in addition to encouraging reflection on the meaning of the images, and review the trends and understand the different film models of cinema produced in countries such as China, USA, Brazil, UK, Bulgaria and Poland.
The intention of the cycle is to track new talent in international film, in feature film format and is an inexcusable event for anyone who wants to take the pulse of what is being done and seeing in different parts of the world, completely new filmmakers or trying to gain a place in the great circuits like Bi Gan, Yanng Qing, Johsh Kriegman, Elyse Steinberg, Gabriel Mascaro, Stephan Komandarev, Yance Ford, Babak Anvari and Marcin Wrona.
The cycle is structured in eight films that propose to spread the tendencies of recent cinematography in its broadest expression, including the diversity of narratives and aesthetics before the wave of an emerging cinema and the extensive film production in the world that needs new spaces of projection.
A proposal that will allow the viewer to know some elements of the human condition through image and sound enriched with all the fine arts to try to impact the intellect and emotion.
