International exhibition in Murcia 'Dinero-Dinheiro' on the relationship between art and money (08/05/2018)

Place: José Nicolás Almansa Room of the University Museum.

Organized by: University of Murcia

Next May 9 will be the inauguration of the international exhibition 'Dinero-Dinheiro', curated by Antonio García López and Ilídio Salteiro, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Murcia and professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon respectively .

The event will take place at 8:00 pm in the José Nicolás Almansa Room of the University Museum.

This Portuguese and Spanish collaboration seeks to reflect on creation, and the relationship between art and money.

In this way, the exhibition confronts several works developed by thirty teachers and artists, coming from the Belas Artes School of Lisbon, the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, Universidade da Beira Interior, Faculty of Fine Arts. of the UPV, and Faculty of Fine Arts of Murcia.

In short, an X-ray with many points of view of how money affects the creators of an era.

As a complement to the exhibition, a publication is being prepared with images of the works and reflections of their authors.

The first exhibition took place in the Higher Institute of Economics and Gestao of Lisbon between October 28 and November 28, 2016. Now, the project has grown by moving to the Region of Murcia through the UMU.

It is expected that later travel to other locations such as Archena, Cartagena and Mazarrón.
