The construction of the municipal children's school in La Paz, the installation of video surveillance in the Barrio del Carmen and the repair and conservation of the Caballerizas Room are the most important files that have been processed by the Contracting Committee held this morning, chaired by the Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva.

The first of them has a deadline of twelve months and has required administrative documentation to the company Avance y Desarrollo SL, whose offer is to build a nursery school with a budget of 734,721 euros (VAT excluded).

Also, the Board has selected the proposal of Murtrafic to carry out the installation of video surveillance in the neighborhood of El Carmen, amounting to 55,570 euros.

The system will allow to have information in real time of the incidents in the streets, in order to improve the efficiency in the management.

The main objective is to increase the subjective feeling of security and deter the commission of infractions, in addition to controlling traffic in the area to respond to specific needs.

The repair and conservation works of the "Sala Caballerizas", annexed to the Molinos del Río Hydraulic Museum, will be awarded to Eneas Servicios Integrales SA, for which a fund of € 129,160 is available.
