The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, presented this morning the International Tournament "Boxam Tournament 2018", which is held in the Prince of Asturias in Murcia until the 13th and serves as preparation for the Mediterranean Games 2018
A tournament that has the collaboration between the City Council and the Spanish Boxing Federation and will have 150 athletes of different nationalities, about 200 people of organization and technicians, as well as companions.
All this is summarized in some 1,200 overnight stays during the week of the competition.
From today, and until May 10, the preliminary tests of the competition are held, being the 11th semifinals and disputing the finals on Saturday 12 from 21:00 hours.
It should be noted that it will compete in junior, young and elite male categories.
This championship is a sporting event of national repercussion that, in addition to the large number of participants (150 athletes) of different nationalities, among which there will be a large majority of Spanish representatives, companions and the general public, will have a considerable media impact when broadcast live by STREAMING and will be seen by the worldwide platform LALIGA4SPORT.
