Among the activities organized on the occasion of this event will be a photo contest open to the public in which anyone can participate, either with a mobile phone, a professional camera or any other type of camera.

The winner will be awarded with a Pianova P-145C digital piano.

In addition, an area for children will be reserved in the Plaza Julián Romea, where a grand piano, two mini pianos and a vertical mini piano will be placed and children's workshops given by the company Klavier will be held.

In the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, two giant screens will be installed so that the spectators have a better view of the concerts.

On Sunday, May 13, at 7:00 pm, the awards ceremony will take place and from 7:20 a concert will be held for the twelve finalists and accompanying pianists at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium.

The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, explained that 'Pianos on the street' seeks to "bring classical music to the general public and promote their knowledge, promoting musical talent among Murcia and citizen participation."

The activity Pianos on the Street is organized thanks to the collaboration between the City of Murcia, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Klavier, Clamo, Iberpiano, Ferrovial Services and the Association of Amateur Photographers of Murcia.
